Experience Requirements: Advanced university degree (climate change science, adaptation, development, economics, related); 7 years experience (research into climate change adaptation-related issues, including impact assessment, economic and non-economic analysis, linkages with sustainable development, analysis on adaptation options at different levels, sectors and ecosystems); demonstrable expertise in climate change adaptation; 2 peer-reviewed publications on a subject relating to climate change adaptation, particularly impact assessments; understanding of the UNFCCC intergovernmental process desirable 
Special Requirements: 
Excellent proficiency in English and writing skills essential, familiarity with the UN editorial style an asset.
