Position: Research Assistant - Ecosystems Services and Management (ESM) Program
Duty Station: Laxenburg, Near Vienna, Austria
Deadline for Application: 22 February 2013
Term: 1-year with possibility of 1-year extension following review
Experience Requirements: Master’s degree (IT, geo-information and software development); analytical skills, ability to manipulate large data sets and complex modeling systems; experience with open source geospatial software on desktop and server environments, open standards and web services (W3C, OGC, INSPIRE); knowledge of Geo-Wiki and related activities, strong interest in ESM topics (agriculture, forestry, resources, land-use, energy and/or climate policy issues)
Special Requirements: Good command of English language
