FAO is seeking a Forestry Officer for its Latin America and Caribbean Service Investment Centre
. S/he would participate in the review and development of forest sector policies and projects; assist governments in the preparation of sector and sub-sector reviews and in program and policy evaluation; and participate in, and eventually lead, teams to assist governments in identifying and preparing investment projects and programs concerning the forest sector. Minimum qualifications include a university degree in forestry, forestry economics, natural resource management, or a closely related filed; seven years of relevant experience; and a working knowledge of English, French or Spanish, with limited knowledge of one of the other two.
