Senior Researcher—Forest and Land Use Programme, IIED

IIED is seeking a Senior Researcher for its Forestry and Land Use Programme. S/he would coordinate the implementation of a 3-year initiative to support effective partnerships for forest empowerment and investment; fundraise and implement a further body of research, analysis, and capacity-building work at improving forestry and land-use; and contribute to other areas of IIED’s cross-sectoral development work. Essential qualifications include a post-graduate degree in forestry, agriculture, natural resources, economics, or a related social science discipline; relevant practical work experience in Africa, Asia, or Latin America; and fluency in English as well as a good working knowledge of a second language of wide relevance to IIED’s work (e.g. French, Spanish, or Portuguese).
