The Global Fund for Community Foundations
The Global Fund for Community Foundations seeks to strengthen and promote institutions of local philanthropy around the world so that they can realize their potential as key players in the development process.
The Fund makes small grants to develop the capacities of community foundations and other local philanthropic institutions which are grantmakers and which raise funds from local sources.
The Global Fund for Community Foundations (CF’s) calls for applications from CF’s and support organizations based in developing and transition countries. Projects proposed must address one of the Fund’s three programmes: (1) Organisational Development; (2) Challenge grants; and (3) Learning and Sharing.
