The Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU) is seeking a Research Officer for its Natural Resource Management team. Specific duties will include performing desktop research to complement and strengthen the work of the research team as required;
Rassisting in the development, organization, and management of the NRM team’s research activities; organizing meetings, workshops, and conferences; and contribute to the writing of reports and other project documentation. Essential qualifications include experience in the implementation of research activities, particularly using qualitative and quantitative methodologies; international development experience in the natural resources sector; and strong written and oral communications skills in English.
